Thank you to the 31 Swiss Network Seattle members who responded to the initial survey. The purpose of the survey was to solicit your input on what you wanted the Swiss Network Seattle to be.

Here are the results of the survey: there was strong agreement on the quarterly pace, so we’ll start with that; there was less consensus on time of day and location, so we’ll alternate between lunch and evening, and between Seattle and Eastside. The next post will address the next steps for the Swiss Network Seattle.

Redmond, WA - On March 7, Microsoft welcomed Ambassador Christian Blickenstorfer as well as the new consular team – San Francisco General Consul Jean-François Lichtenstern and Seattle Honorary Consul Philippe Goetschel. Mr. Goetschel had also invited a cross section of Swiss high tech professionals and academic researchers from Seattle to join the many Swiss employees of Microsoft in welcoming the ambassador.
